Default Car idles very low after turbo install (explanation + video clip inside)

after i got my turbo kit together it seemed to idle fine, until after i drove it for a while. after the cars been warmed up the idles will drop very low and will sometimes feel like it is about to die out.

here's my setup:

94 usdm b18c1
t3/t4e .63 a/r 57 trim
ssac manifold
3" open downpipe

fuel management:
rechipped p28 w/ uberdata on basemap
dsm 450cc w/ resistor box
walbro 255 fuel pump

-spark plugs are gapped to .030
-at stock ignition timing
-no vacuum leaks
-coolant is fine

video clip:
5.1 mb .AVI

notice how the idle drops to almost 100 rpms and the vac is only at like 15 in/hg

any ideas?

Honestly all i think you need is a tune. Put it on the dyno....get the basemap tuned.....you'll be fine.

15hg is kind of low, check for a vac leak, you might have one even if you think you dont

pretty much the same thing was happening to me.

My problem was with the ignitor. I Put in a new one, and it ran fine. A tune will help too.

Goodluck, problems like these sucks *****

It sounds like something might be stuck in your vacuum line

What is your fuel cut at? I have had one guys car i tuned have this value off a little and it idled horribly like that. Post up your bin. Maybe I can help

Also do you have a wideband...you could be running lean at idle, but I doubt it

i always get them mixed up, but its the one that reads off of your maps rather then your o2 sensor. i think its on closed loop.

Closed loop -> uses O2 sensor for fueling
Open loop -> uses maps only

I opened that .bin you posted, and it IS using closed loop. If you are running that map identically, try disabling closed loop.

1.) Disable closed loop (to only read off maps)
2.) disable 02 heater if you have a wideband
3.) What engine is this? If it's not a B18c5 then put your rev limiter back to stock ...you don't want to bend a valve
4.) You may take 20% fuel of of the idle columns to help with idle. Most people do this anyway because Uberdata likes to run rich .

What version of Uber are you using?

its on a b18c1. i didn't make the basemap. my tuner made it for me so i can drive around a for a bit, and for the hour trip up north to where he is for the tuning.

if its on closed loop, wouldn't i throw a CEL for my o2 sensor since its not getting any type of reading from the exhaust gases? i'm running open downpipe.
