96-98 HX's, was the TRUNK plastic insert, around license plate, painted?

96-98 HX's, was the TRUNK plastic insert, around license plate, painted?
Need to know due to trunk swapping issues to get rid of the wing. Did HX's have the insert painted or was it bare plastic.

The LX model had body colored license housing as well. I think only in the coupe though.
