yoyoyo hey wasup peeps i need sum info/help... i got a stock 94 accord coupe on 17's and i wanna cut the springs but i only want to cut 1 or 2 coils cuz i dun want the FULL BUTTERFLY camber **** so i jus wanna get it low enough to align and still have good tireware.. Thankz for the help...

 

what help are you looking for? how to cut the springs? or how much to cut? haha.. do people still cut their springs nowadays?

 

I jus want to know how much i could cut before i get a a fu**ed up camber issue... should 2 coils be enough or is it gonna be to much?

NEVER NEVER cut the spring. BAD idea.

 

why dont you just buy new aftermarket springs. your going to have to do this anyway when you cut the springs and royally **** up your suspension.

 

Bad idea in cutting your Springs, Just cough up about $100 and you can get yourself a brand new set of Aftermarket Springs which will be doing better performance in the long run instead of Cutting your Stock Springs.

x2. Cheap springs are better then cut springs, but I guess they are not as tyTe foR spIrNgTiME y0!!

 

get some damn ebay springs if yur so cheap, its like 50-60 bucks

 

Man, I got some used Neuspeeds on here for 75 shipped. look around the classifieds I bet you can get some Tein S Techs for under 100 shipped. Or get Neuspeed, Tein, H&R, etc off of ebay.

Cut springs can kill people. You can wobble out of control and crash.

 

If you cut your springs you are not only endangering yourself but also your fellow motorists


Seriously though, you can cut your springs but your ride is going to REALLY, REALLY suck and your going to damage your shocks after hard hits while driving.

Just like everyone above is telling you, just grab an ebay set or a cheap set of Neuspeeds, Eibachs, Nonamers, Ractive etc...

fixed that for you

 

i cut the springs on my old crx back in the days and boy did i regret it. i cut it about 2 coils and the ride was terrible. bouncin all over the place and not to mention the crazy butterfly effect. best bet is to get some cheap or used springs.

buy some omni coilovers, u'll be much happier

 

why cut? just take em out, u'll be fine foo, dunt even sweat it...and u'll get a hella tyte slammed look and it wudnt cost u a dime u can trust me, i wudnt tell u to do anything that myte be dangerous
