Default Engine oil Motul/Mobil 1?

Okay, just picked up my civic last friday, i'm about to drain all the fluids and change them. I've been running mobil1 for awhile now but i want to try motul out.

I'm not sure what kind i should use though? Has anone used motul in the civic?
What the differences in the oils they make 6100/8100/300v from what i can see, i want to go with the 300v, and whats the recommended oil honda wants in they're D16Y7 motor? 5w30?

Thanks.

I believe Motul will use everything from Group III mineral base stocks all the way up to Group V esters in their top of the line lubes.

I like esters ... but in a blend of PAO or mineral oil. Esters buy themselves are somewhat powerful cleaners and UOAs suggest they are simply too aggressive at scavenging metal inside an engine.

Good oils to be sure (the equal of Red Line Oil) but I don't think they are worth the price over Mobil 1 or even some of the better conventional oils.

I use Schaeffer synthetic (PAO) blend in 5W-30 and 10W-30 and dump it every 5,000 miles.
