Default Need help with no Spark... newbie..

Hey all any help is appreciated here.

A little background information, I'm a mustang guy and have worked on my car for years I know v8's inside and out, but now I need your guys help.

My girlfriend has a 95 Civic. The engine is a 1.6 VTEC.

I was giving it a basic tune-up. Fuel Filter, Cap, Rotor, Wires, Plug Wires.

Well eveything went smooth, and the car ran fine. Well I bought some seafoam (which is a great product and I use on all cars) and I ran some into the intake manifold to clean out the cylinders.

Well for anyone that has used seafoam knows the car may stall out and will defantly smoke like a mother out the rear. Well the car would shut off from time to time, and I would let the seafoam evaporate and start the car again. Well the last time it stalled it did not turn back on.

I have established that I am getting fuel but no spark. I have a spark tester I had purchased from Snap-On a while back and I am not getting any spark from the plug wires to the plugs.

My question is where is the next place to look? and what will I be looking for (name and location please).

i say check your ignitor and coil...both are inside the distributor cap....Ive got money on the coil being the problem. But it could be the ignitor....both should be stocked by your local honda dealer as theyre a fast moving item.

did you try testing the spark plugs? use a multimeter to check the resistance of the wires.

No I did not try testing the plugs. I figure if the wire is not giving the plug spark, the problem would not be the plugs.

Which is the coil when I open the dizzy?

Yeah it just stopped about 5 minutes after the tune-up. It cranks and I get fuel but no spark. I guess I will go to Vato Zone and get a book for her car and sto by radio shack and another volt meter.
