might be getting another G2, engine internal parts question (B17)
are there any connecting rods that will work from another B series on the B17? if i recall B16 rods will work, i just need to make sure i have a B17 crank right?

The B16A and the B17A1 both use PR3 blocks. The only displacement difference is in the stroke. No other B series rods are the same length as the B17 rods due to this stroke difference. If you use B16 rods, make sure to have a B16 crank, likewise if you use B17 rods, make sure to have a B17 crank.

he's right... the p61 rods are different then other rods. you can use b16 rods but i belive b17 rods are shorter than b16 rods.

thanks for jumpin in i appreciate it, but i did find all the rod lengths for all the B series engines... took a me a while but i came up with em
