Default 2000 integra gsr should I get a exhaust

I just bought a 2000 integra gsr it is a 4 door model. It has a header and a cold air intake. it does not have an aftermarket exhaust. would it make a big difference if I got an exhaust for it.

yes it would make a difference but it woudln't make a HUGE difference. why not finish out your cars resperatory system? you already have intake and header so it just wouldn't make sense not to. its kidna like getting a boob job, why would you only want to get the left side done and not the right side also? my point? it doesn't make sense not to get the exhaust. so yes get a nice exhaust like an apexi dunk, greddy evo, rsr exmag, or apexi ws. it all just depends on what style exhaust u want. post up on what ur looking for in an exhaust and we'll help out

by the way. how many cylinders do our cars have? 4 or 8? last tiem i checked we're still rollin on 4 so this would our "headers" headER just leting u know, not being a dick..

It won't make that much of a difference, but you will enjoy the car more. I think that you should finish the exhaust unless you want a sleeper (may be less likely to get stolen).

dont buy the god damn exhaust. why you ask? Because you dont need something that is going to bring way to much attention to your car and not do anything for performance. Any mod you make that doesn't involve a power adder (nos), turbo, supercharger, or heavy NA mods like cams, the only thing you will do is have your car make a lot of unnecessary noise. /thread

i say get the exhaust and keep your mouth shut about what type of integra you drive. Maybe some dark tints too.

You need to finish this sentance, after the comma you started a new train of thought and didn't finish enlightening us as to why any mod other than FI or cams would be useless.

If exhausts didn't make power, no one would buy them. Maybe you're thinking of adding an exhaust to a car with a stock header/cat, but in this case I would have to disagree with you and say that you will notice a slight gain in power if you were to add a catback and high flow cat to the car.

Exhaust gas is only going to flow as fast as the narrowest part will allow, so having just a header really isn't doing to much because the flow is stunted when it reaches the stock 50.8 mm catback tubing. But, by finishing off the whole system with an aftermarket catback/highflow cat you will promote an constant rate of flow.

Just get an exhaust that will match up to your header, and also pickup a hi-flow cat. Not a huge gain but your motor will "breath" better.
