I don't live there and neither will that guy (I never seen him before), I rarely drive the ITR to Flushing, and I only park in pay parking (won't tell you where). I know my security measures, I am always a window away if I really have to go get something like takeouts, anyone approaching my car in a funny way will get a beat down. It was funny today, when I was turning right, I notice a PY and both me and that driver twisted our neck to maximal points to get the most views of each other's car. As far as I can tell, it's amber corner lights, so he shouldn't be a ricer....anyway, I've encountered 3 times of PY ITRs and 2 times Black ITRs 3 times CW ITRs in Flushing of all these years...I know who some of them are.

Last year, whenever I go behind Flushing High School, there is always a PY parked behind there with 2 white ITR wheels....I doubt if that car is still alive.

Neomugen:

Good thing you look out for your car the way you do, I do the same to my car....

although its not an ITR, but a heavily modded GSR.

and I only park in pay parking (won't tell you where)
I dont care where you park your car....I aint gonna come trying to rip it off...I already have a car I'm happy with
Good luck though and be safe!

Toda:

Don't get me wrong, I know about how much you care for your car as much as mine. Look at my email address, then you should know who I am.

I wasn't directing that to you, sorry for the misunderstanding. I "won't tell" because I thought you also meant bewared of theives on this board by saying "Beware, You don't know who's watching you".

Thats okay....maybe I'm feeling a bit sensitive tonight, but anyhow, all of us who value our B18C powered cars should be on the lookout because it is true, you never know who's watching.

I tell ya I washed my car and detailed it real nice and went out for a drive to East NY during the middle of the week when it was real nice out and man, EVERYONE was turning their heads to look at my car......Kinda nice that everyone notices, but at the same time I wont like the attention if someone is gonna try to steal the car...but anyhow, I had a nice conversation with a police officer in his cruiser when he wasked me about my VAFC and the car itself.

Must be the White TE-37's... Anyway, thanks for the info on the Toda 4-2-1 a while ago. About the attention issue...believe me, I always slap myself silly of not getting a black one, debadge it and get a 4 lug conversion with GSR spoiler. Attention is nice for the first couple months, then it became a disaster and burden.

Are you saying that the huge asian community in flushing is responsible for car theft around there.. peronsally I would be more worried about a R being left in EAST NY rather Flushing..

Actually, I don't think Toda Racing meant that. Just that Flushing have too many import cars that the theives can get their hands on and follow you home / copy your license plate, Vin#...etc. An acquaintence once told me to beware of Flushing because he knows about a group of theives that hunt VTEC engines and can strip a Civic/Integra in 6 hours.

And if you ask me why not call the police to interrogate this acquaintance of mine and get to the car theives...well, I don't want to mess with gang ppl, it's already a nice thing that he warned me of potential dangers, I shouldn't put him into troubles.

I worrie more about leaving my car on the street of Flushing and being KEYED from haters....there are plenty of ricers in Flushing thinking they are hardcore racers with unbeatable cars.

Wendy's six victims by robbery is not a common scene in central Flushing. I don't hear many robbery news involve with too much violence...except the ones in the cell phone store. The early 90's are scarry as gangs are fighting each other, the police precint there nowadays is very strong IMO for anything bad to happen.
I don't know why, I felt secured in Flushing, I just don't like to be recognized by old friends, ex's friends and classmates that stop me half way talking to me when I'm 'bout to grab some food.

Rules in Flushing for you car: Never park in the parking lot near the LIRR train or the one next to Sheraton during night, during the day is ok if you don't mind people hitting your bumpers. I like to park in the 2-floor parking lot's first level, lots of people walking around without stupid stunnas and dark enough to hid your car...beware of highschool kids after 2pm. At night, never park anywhere on street or municipal lots if your car is subject to theft, pay $2 an hour can save you lots less hassles.

Yeah it must be my TE's my 2" drop and my flawless, deep shiny milano red paint.
Well, Owning a yellow R is much harder cuz You sure will stand out in da crowd.
If I had either a Yellow or White ITR, I'd probably be kicking myself right now...
