Build your own kit.

You need to specify your question more. What do you want to do with your car? Do you want to drag race, do you want stop light to stop light, Autocross, daily driver? Different turbos are best used for different applications. For example, if you wanted to drag race only, maybe something like a T-66 with a small shot of nitrous to get you started (although, I'm not a fan of the juice in any application, regardless of how "well tuned" nitrous can be). If you wanted stop light to stop light, a smaller T3. Daily Driving I would think around a t3 super 60, which is probably not a bad choice for autocross as well. How much power do you want, what power range do you want it at? How much money do you want to spend?

I'm currently goin the route of turbo sohc. Buying parts peice by peice is much cheaper than spending 2k+ outright on a premade kit or a B-swap. I should have the car turbo'd in the next week or so. Usin a garret t3 .42.48 that i pulled from a volvo 740. I'm thinkin its gonna pull pretty good. Got one friend with a turbo mini-me with a 14b turbo, and that pulls hard on 9psi. Got another friend with turbo y7 with t25 not sure how much hes boostin and that pulls hard too. All cars are Ef's.
In any case, build a homemade turbo kit, see how u like it, and if u dont sell it for well over what u paid for it and buy a B-series

For street, at 300hp is unneccessary. But ur best bet is to get a 14b or t3 about the same size as mine. Fast spool and decent top end power. T25's max out too quick in my opinion, and a Super 60 would be a lil too big for everday street use, it'll have a lil more lag than the others, but i'll definately kick in some madd power if ur just lookin for high peak hp. Search for "Another Boosted D-series in the crx forum" Thats my guy. He hasnt been to the dyno or track yet. but its a good *** setup, think he did it for less than 800

D15B running a t25 turbo at 9psi. S14 SR20 front mount intercooler, custom piping, 3 inch straight piping (no cat no muffler), Blitz DD BOV, Apexi SAFC piggy back. Put out about 200WHP and pulled so hard. Blew motor First night. Had 300,000 KMS on it. lol. New motor going in on weds. Gonna be a D16 with ARP head studs, Head Gasket and Bully Stage 3 Clutch. A really good setup.
