long story short i wired up my friends swap and left to go to work. he calls me a few hours later saying the car won't start..
get home and find that the battery was hooked up backwards.. blew the battery fuse of course, but all other fuses are intact.
when key is switched from acc to run the seatbelt lights up and brake light comes on, but the main relay doesn't switch on and the cel light doesn't light up for self-test. turning the key to start produces a slight click from inside the car, but the soleniod on the starter doesn't click and starter doesn't crank..
everything else has voltage, fuses, accy's, lights, everything but the bottom lower left wire on the main relay.. but 8.7 volts is present at the soleniod switch terminal on the starter at all times... but no parasitic drain. wtf is wrong??
also: i tried 2 diff starters, ecu's, and another main relay
help!!
