Yokohama Advan A032R ?s
okay i've got Nippon F2 15"s.
My 96' CX Hatch is relativly stock, but i want to pick up the advan a032r.
Now there are a couple choices i've seen that i have no idea what the impact is with going with any of these choices, sooooooooo.... i'm asking you guys.
1st i want the..
Yokohama Advan A032R - 205/50/VR15/86V
Now the choices i need help with are;
1)Soft Compound
2)Hard Compound
3)Heat Cycled
4)Shaved 4/32nds
Now i'm not doing any auto crossing, or drifting (obviously).
I Will be hiting the 1/4mile track all summer though.
Plan to nitrous my d-series until detonation and then b-series it aswell.
So help, give me the 1-4 choice i need, thanks.

The A032R's are not drag radials man...they are road racing tires for the most part. Check out their website. Their sidewalls are much too firm for drag racing. You'll want a much softer compound.
I don't know much about drag racing, but check out some drag radials. If you got those tires, you'd be using them for reasons different for their design.
Hope this helps.
Latez,
Paul

Yeah, What he said^^^^^^^
You might want to buy 4 decent street tires of that size (like the Yoko AVS 100ES), then get 2 BF Goodrich g-Force TA drag radials for your trips to the drag strip.
(Using Tire Rack prices)
If you were gonna spend $136 X 4 = $544 on the A032R's
AVS ES100's $75 X 4 = $300 + Drag Radials $108 X 2 = $216 TOTAL $516
You are gonna spend about the same dollars that way (except for getting the steelies or other wheels to mount the drag radials)
That's one way to justify it
