Top Setup EG6 K20A
Ok, dont jump all over me because i posted this in the all-motor forum, but i picked up the new Hot Version (basically best motoring) DVD yesterday, "American Togue" and good ol' Brian G. from this board was in it, showing off the HASport supercharged k24 ep3. But back to the point of this post...
There was a lucky entrant into the segment with a k20'ed EG, and i KNOW he's on this board. He mentioned driving to buttonwillow from the chicago area just to watch the shoot! Tsuchiya made a comment that his EG handled quite possibly better than the spoon eg...

He ruffled a lot of feathers in the RR/AutoX section, and called the moderator names on his personal site. They obviously didn't use an AutoBan, but they may have used another method. In any case, I haven't seen him post in a long time, so I assume its true.

i know him he has his shop right by my house. he is a super cool guy and all his motor are so clean . we put two motors from him in this last month and they rip so hard. he is the guy you want to talk to if you want info on the k series or bseries. that car is crazy. it is the only car to drive to the race and drive home. everyother car got towed each way. he even has a stock clutch in that thing and it still rips so hard compared to those racecars with so much time put into them. anyway i will be going in there on thursday so i will let him know about this post. email is charlie@topsetup.net.
he was banned with out given any reason. when the moderator was questioned, he said terms of service was violated but did not mention any specifics. seems like censorship... it was well known that he didn't share many opinions with others in the rr/ax forum but is that reason enough for the ban? many on the rr/ax call each other idiots and retards, i don't think name calling was the reason... or was it? is honda-tech a public forum or private?
He just picked a **** ton of the WRONG people on the boards to **** off and made it seem like he was a high horsed arrogant asshat.
that probably had something to do with it im sure.

hey whats up,
yea it was an insane trip to california. My buddy Tim D co-piloted the drive from chicago to cali. It started out going to the JGTC just to watch the GT500 and GT300. Plus getting out to streets of willow for speedtrialUSA. Well everything went as planned. Our first stop was at straight 35-40 hours to willow springs. It was saturday morning. Tim and I were tired as ****. But I couldnt refuse running at streets. Thats when i first met up with Frank. Yea i know he pissed off a bunch of track people here but I had no probs with him. Then we hung out at some shady *** motel with the Rcrew gang and went back to Streets on Sunday. The EG was feeling great, must have liked the nice 70-80 degree weather in December. Then I drove up to San Fran to see some friends. While in SF
Tim and I fixed my friends EK hatch and made it pass emmisions, so that he can sell it.
So for fixing EK my friend paid for me to run my EG at streets of willow for a Redline
Event. At the end of the day my 5year old ( which is insane especilly for the midwest) , RS*R exhaust broke off at the muffler section. Then checked out JGTC.
That event was the best yet. Sunday night i got a call from Frank telling me about
a post he saw on club4AG and told me that Tsuchiya and Orido were gonna be
at Streets filming a US touge battle. So by this time it was getting close to Christmas and I wanted to get back before then, ya know hang out with the fam and all. But I was also running out a tire, I drove out on some low thread azenis and after the 3 track event they were pretty beat up. So I posted up here kidding around that I needed some R compounds for the touge event. Which i had no invite too but with Franks encouragement, we figured that once Tsuchiya and Orido saw my EG and what it was powered by they would want to drive it. Frank came though with the white Kosies wrapped in Toyo RA-1.
Well, I'll speed it up i promise, I picked up frank at like 6am we drove to streets.
I mounted the tires and we popped the hood. Frank went and Asked Hot Version if they could use my EG they said no cause there were already 6 entries. Then thanks to Vishnu EVO, there head gasket took a dump. Hot Version then asked if they could use my EG and now you can go a purchase or download (I'm not sure where)the
rest of the story on DVD... yes, it was a real life dream.
