in case yall haven't heard, TOP SETUP (Chicago, IL) Charlie's car got driven by Orido and Tsuchiya for Hot Version Touge Challenge!!! and we came in 2nd (out of 6 cars) just behind Comptech NSX. every staff on Hot Version loved the K20EG6... it was hillarious and a dream come true for us (Charlie, Tim and I). we're international super stars now hahahhaha...
of course we plugged DP @ R*CREW, HASPORT, TOYO. this is gonna be offf the hoook **** man we got tons of photos and vids to show later. in an afterthought, i kinda think we shouldn't show 'em (buy that's just being selfish) because this might be history in the makes, EK and EG civic's might make a huge come back in Japan after this, and our good supply of DC5R swaps might reduce!!
i told yall k sizzle is no joke. some famous quotes about the EG6
"I like it" (loud exhaust) - Orido
"This drives like a N1 Civic" - Orido
"This Civic is better than Spoon" - Tsuchiya
"Japanese better watch out for USA tuners" - Tsuchiya
yep, and don't forget the TOP SETUP EG6 was GhettoRacer approved first! haha.

unless they are race cars. motor swaps arent very popular -
let the dc5r parts prices reduce
that awsome they got that kinda coverage. it must have been a real treat to get the car beaten up on by some of the most famous japanese drivers.
btw- what times did it run? im assuming it was at SOW?

Congrats Charlie.

Looks like he'll be hitting it big time after this. What a good way to get publicity for his new shop.
I knew Charlie when he was in school still and it's funny to see him going international.

it was so funny, after Orido's "first impression drive", you can see the smirk he had on his face. he obviously was pleasantly surprised about the car. he said something like, this is basically a N1 Civic that you shouldn't drive everyday. we told the translator Charlie drove 35 hours from Chicago and this is his daily driver car. The Hot Version staff went nuts haha, later on on the final results, they made the point to mention the car was driven thousands miles away...
omg.. that is sooo awesome. i always wondered what they would say about my car...
now you guys did get that chance! i'll be waiting for the DVD
let us know when it comes out...

Congratulations Charlie! That's absolutely wild!
You'll have to create some kind of badge with your signature that I can put on my dashboard when we're done with my car.
Drive safe on your way back.
