Default Anyone bypass the IACV when installing Hondata intake gasket?

I already plugged the cold idle valve, but I was wondering if anyone left the IACV hooked up the electrical connection, but disconnected the coolant lines from it?
If you did what was the consiquence of disconnecting the coolant?

Thanks for the help.

Doesn't seme to be any problem disconnecting the coolant if you live in the warm climate - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=596485

mine was messed up, and when i switched over last week i was lazy and didn't mess with the coolant lines, so it works fine. however, i'll probalby have to connect them before winter, assuming i still have this dying motor.
