Default Sad Day, Need Help, Burning Lots of Oil

I knew my car was burning oil and had a minor oil leak. I am going through 3Lt's of oil a week-2 weeks. The oil leak is like a pin drop a day. So it's not the oil leak. I looked at the back of my car it's all black. My exhaust is pure black everywhere. All oil. Any way to fix this?

Yeah, rebuild or replace engine.

Get a leakdown test done.

Hey Smokey. Stinks like hell don't it. You got Bad rings on ur piston lettin oil by or some bad valve seals drippin oil right down in. Run a compression check to see if a piston ring is shot or you'll have to replace the valve stem seals in the head.

rings or ringlands. i'm going to say if the back of your car is all oily, your engine is toast.

do a compression leakdown test, because theres a couple things it could be. if its the rings/ringlands, the only way to fix it is rebuilding the engine. but if its the valve guides, you can replace them without pulling the whole engine apart

to do a leakdown test, first do a regular compression test, and then put reasonably thick oil in the spark plug holes to see if it helps (if it helps, its plugging up the worn rings, if it doesn't help too much, the rings are ok and therefore its the valve guides/valve guide seals.

Is there oil all on the underside of the car if so(wet oil). Does your car smoke alot. I've seen PCV valves go bad and put alot of oil in the intake. I would get a compression test done on thecar.
