Default Clicking noise from my suspension/camber kit setup???

Hey, i have a 2000 GSr, and over the past summer i did suspension on my car. I have the Tein type basic with dropzone camber kit all around. When i first installed it, everything was fine, but now i get a clicking noise from the front right side. Before i used to get it on both sides, but i have tightened up the camber kits in the front and the camber kit doesnt seem to be the problem, bc everything is tightened down.

Does anyone know what else may be causing this noise? It happens when i hit the brakes hard, or cut the wheel and reverse...it sounds like a little pop/click, as if something is shifting. One of my friends said it could be a ball joint, but im not sure. Anyone have any opinions? Thanks

Thats weird! I just had the same problem a couple days ago. Someone told me to check all the crossmember parts to make sure they were nice and tight. The easiest way is to raise your car up with a jack, put it on jack stands, and wiggle your tire left and right, then up and down. Its easiest if you have someone else listening to see where its coming from. My problem was coming from a loose bolt connecting the lower control arm. Sounds like yours might be something similar. Just get down there and check every single bolt and nut you see that pertains to the front suspension and tighten it. Your bound to find your problem this way. good luck!

One time i had a clickin noise and i could have sworn it was the camber kit. After taking things apart and wasting my time i found out it was a loose nut on the very top of the shock. It was way simpler than i thought it was going to be. HTH

Let us know.

PS i blamed it on my dropzone camber kit too

yaa, i plan to find out soon enough...I doubt its a blown shock bc i got the Tein type basics and they still are tight on turns and everything. I have to get under there and look at everything really closely. The thing that worries me is that the noise happens when i shift from first to second bc the momentum of the car slows for a bit inbetween shifting and then catches back when i let the clutch back up. It feels as if something is loose and as if my wheel is moving back when the clicking occurs.... i dunno tho, i was wondering if anyone else had the problem.

Ps. i check the dropzone camber kit and they seem to be on there tight, so im not too sure what else it is now...the only problem i have with the dropzone camber kit is a squeaky noise, but im gonna try to get some silicone spray or something to take care of that. thanks for the help though, ill post back up when i find out what the problem is

anyone else have suggestions??

check your front end, jack up the front, and try to move the tire back and forth, this is to check the tie rods..then try to move the tire up and down, this is to check your ball joints..but it sounds like your axles to me.. also check your sway bar bushings..
