Help identify this ITR ECU

im assuming its obd2a?
i have that ecu running a jdm b16 and it works great, no codes on a 96 db8. however, plugging an obd2 p2p, i get 2 codes, crank angle, and 2ndry o2. it also makes the car jerk due to the rpm's dropping quicker.
the p73 i have now is a loaner, and the shop wants 300 for it, which i think is too much.
which ecu could i get that would not flash codes or jerk the car?
Looks like an ITR ECU (P73).
The reason you're throwing at least one of those codes is because your car (probably) doesn't have a chankshaft (angle) fluctuation sensor.
Here's a link that might help:

i actually pm'd him a few days ago, but didnt get a response.
does the jdm ecu not have wiring for the crankangle or secondary o2?
thanks guys.

JDM ITRs have only 1 O2 sensor in the header collector and i think (but not 100% sure) that they also dont have crank angle sensor. The ECU you pictured above is a 98spec ECU. 96spec ECU's are # 37820-P73-003

im assuming that you're correct about them only having 1 o2, and not having the crank angle because i get no codes and run perfect.
last question, any diffrence between 96 and 98 spec ecu's? is the redline at 8900?
thanks again for the quick replies.

As far as i can find out there is no real difference in either but 98specs will be mapped for the 4-1 manifold and the extra 3degrees duration on the intake cam, but a 96spec will run fine in a 98spec and vice versa. VTEC on both is at 5800rpm and rev limit at 8900rpm.
