I think I totalled my civic...
Well as the story goes, I was at an intersection stoppped at the stop sign. It's raining hard as **** in gloomy ol' washington and I check my left, my right and start to ease off my clutch as I look left again then all of a sudden I see this car and I've pulled a little ways into the street maybe 1-2 ft and I slam my brakes when I see him but he doesn't swerve and hits me. Instantly I see smoke and my engine starts making this vibrating noise. My fault obviously but it was hard to tell since he didn't have his lights on and he could've swerved but anyways... I call the police and got all that **** taken care of.. Went outside and picked my front bumper up off the ground, my left headlight, as well as the bumper support, and if you don't remember how my bumper support was hanging on there refer to this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1150659
So this is literally 2 blocks away from my house so I manage to get the car backinto my garage.

Pulley is rubbing against the rad. support.

Just some damage.

Hood is fucked..

everything pushed back.

rad support...

...

my **** in the trunk...
Nobody's hurt though and I won't be making a claim for my car. I fucked up his front right fender and tore his wheel up as it is pretty much just hanging on by the driveshaft etc.

Was that sarcasm? I'll get the smaller links. I think the frame rail took some damage and if it did it might be totalled, so I'm gonna get that checked and if it is, it's getting completely totalled.

It looks like it shouldn't be totalled but the frame rail has some damage it looks like and if its distorted then it's fucked. Overall, I'm thinking we could probably fix it for about 1000-1500.

So I get to drive the "spare" car with the slipping auto tranny. It's better than nothing though, I washed it, vacuumed it, and febreezed it as well today. It has like moss growing on it, cause we haven't touched the car in soo long so I'll wash it more often to hopefully get rid of all the junk. Also, the right side doors have dent's and dings in 'em too.

I work at a body shop and that looks like an easy fix to be honest. Shouldent take an experienced guy more then a few hours to pull everything out to where it looks good again. New fenders, some minor welding to restrenghin the frame if need be, and hood, headlamps, few misc and its all good.
it all depends on what body shop you go to. mine was totaled and everyone said it should be fixed no problem https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1128734
Damn bro, that sucks.
I would be suprised if that is totalled though, when I got in a wreck in my 84 gti it was way worse than that and they didn't total it.
