Stolen civic recovered
Today was they day that my fears were confirmed. I went down to ID the corpse, and really that’s all that can be said about what was left. I have updated pictures and I will be posting a parts list.

They inscribed “stoc team lsr” on the rear bumper. This could mean something or it could be noting. I think it’s an abbreviation for team loser. In which case its a name that truly represents what they are.

sorry for your lost. at least you have serial numbers so whoever tries to sell those parts you can find out. Maybe they are trying to frame someone else. Where was the car recovered?? Looks like its been burned also.

There was no broken glass. I can only speculate. Probably slim jimmed their way in. There is a possibility that they switched the valet on the alarm. It’s really hard to say, the interior was incinerated. I had plans to dump the valet switch altogether and make a booby trap decoy button. Say a couple of air horns on a secondary timed relay but I was lulled into a false sense of security within the Davis environment. So, it never happened.
I think the thieves were a little thrown off but the dummy hood latch but they persisted with sirens blasting, I’m sure. The thing that pisses my off is that last year someone called the cops because my alarm was going off during the day but in the middle of the night, nothing. There are so many people in my complex I find it hard to believe no one saw or head anything. If I’m not busy I usually make the effort to check out a blaring siren with cell phone in hand even if I know it’s probably nothing.
Who knows what they did with the club, probably used cordless sawzaw to cut it off. If I remember correctly, the metal rim on the burnt steering wheel was not cut.
One thing that I really regret not implementing is a fuel pump or ignition off switch. That won’t happen again.
But what can you do after the fact, not a smeggin thing. I have been calling around to all the “tuner” and “import” shops around and letting them know about my situation. Some are willing to help and some just don’t care. Obviously the shops that brush me off have lost all of my potential business. And lastly I am just trying to get maximum exposure on the web but I doubt any of it will ever lead to anything. These **** ants are probably out right now doing the same **** to someone else.

davis CA?! holy cow man...that's too close to me for comfort. sorry about your car. my gf lives in davis and her complex has been having a ridiculous amount of home break-ins. that really sucks about your car. sorry again.
Car was stolen in Davis and dumped in Sac. Sac is really not a good place for Hondas. Just call around to shops and salvage yards, everyone has got a stolen Honda story or 10. A lot of people I have talked to have sold their projects and bought trucks and cars nobody wants. It’s pathetic!
BTW thanks for everyone’s support, its appreciated.
As a suggestion for those of you that still have your Hondas you may want to purchase an alphanumeric punch kit and stamp your vin (or something that links parts to you) in inconspicuous locations of all your aftermarket parts. I.E. wheels would be a good place to start.

this is about the time to move on to better things...im not even fully into the honda scene yet and im having second thoughts...but really, the thought of thieves preventing a person from obtaining a honda is just not right. i cant let that stop me from the honda scene...these ******* are just plain dirt....

Probably. That z6 is still a decent motor though.
That sucks though man.

sorry about your loss man. I'd be crying too if that happened. I don't mean to be rude asking this, but can you sell me the two hoses that connect to the compressor? the ones with the caps on them in front of the exhuast manifold? I really need these 2 parts. thanks a lot and sorry again.
this is why you shouldnt post everything on your car on the internet for everyone to see and know where you live. this reminds me the other day i was a pick and pull and there was a completly gutted teg with some stupid street racing teem name carved in the rear quarter.
Well, I never posted the location of my car on the internet until now. There is no way anyone could have known where my car was located from anything I have ever posted. Unless of course they live close by and recognized the setting, then it wouldn't matter anyways, now would it.
Or maybe they hacked cardomain, got the log files, determined my ISP from my dynamic IP address and log ins, then hacked my ISP to get a physical address from their logs. Not likely, if you have this kind of skill you are not stealing cars.
