Default Oil Filter Question

My question is are all B-series oil filters the same? I think thats what I heard, and that S2000 filters are different.

When I was talking to my friend he said he got his oil filter from honda for $5.50 and mine was $10 bucks.

The product # of the one I got is:
15400-PLM-A01

I looked it up on google and it came out to be like CRV and Pilot oil fiter.

I believe the b16a1 oil filters are slightly larger than the b16a2. So the a1 series motor might be the odd ball of the bunch.

yup should be the same, not sure about the newer civics. But the honda ones that fit b-series engines will also take s2000 filters.

just get a fram with #3593A or a general filter with #4459. I think k&n number is 1004. I work at a jiffy lube type place and all interas and civics below i think 2002, take 4459 number filters. The s2000 also takes 4459. so it dont matter. GL

All B-series have the same NEW (smaller) filter. The S2000 is the only diff one. I don't like the new ones.

All Civic, Integra, Accord, Prelude, CRV, Ody.....almost every Honda accepts the same oil filter after 1988. The only difference is what filter brand you use...
