Default Got my timing belt kit in today.....question

Got the kit in and they put two timing belts in .....i'm assuming one of them is the balance belt......is this normally the case? Are they the same size, teeth, etc?

nope.....timing belt is much longer than balancer belt you really cannot mix the 2 up..on the kit did you get a balancer shaft seal and the retainer?????..if you are doing job yourself make sure put car on top dead center # 1 and mark all your shafts so you can put back same spot

ok i just checked the actual belt sizes and they are both different lengths so i guess they just put the balance belt in the same exact kind of box the timing belts come in......thanx

this is my second timing belt change. i'm at 190k miles. should i change my a/c belt? to my knowledge it hasn't been changed. i've checked it out and its in good condition....so i don't know if its worth it but would be easier for the mechanic to do it since its in the same region as the timing belt? also, how much do they run at autozone typically?

yes they need to be removed to replace t-belt anyways so it is pretty much your call if p/s and alt belts are in good shape no need to replace
