Default Intake?

What intake model would be awesome for a 1994 Honda Civic EX?

The cheapest one you can find with a K & N filter. Ebay is pretty 'awesome' for intakes.

If you put an air filter directly on to your throttle body it will work amesome. Also pour some rubbing alcohol in your gas tank. Awesome.

yeah, he's kidding. It's sugar in the gas tank, not rubbing alcohol, awesome. To the original poster, get an aem short ram from ebay. Mine was $90 shipped.

Rubbing alcohol in a small amount would just work to clean gunk out of the fuel system. That's the same stuff that is an active in the fuel injection cleaners you add to gas.

except you might want to respray the piping with high-temp engine paint, which should only cost like $5-$10.

Yeah ... thats exactly what i'm doing . In a sense sure if you go w/ a Major manufacturer you get the R&D put into the product but honestly it's only what 1-3 hp. ... just go ebay

go spend $40 on a piece of pipe and a k&n, and gain 3 hp. go spend $300 on brand name crap marketed to hell and back and gain 3.5 hp. or go spend $1500 on a homemade turbo and make real hp. You pick.
