From what I've herd, the stroke on the 05' 1000s was made shorter (i don't know what bikes) and the bore increased. Is this true? if so how is the bottom end? Do they still pull on the bottom like the 1000s before them?

Sales manager at my local place said the magic Gixxer midrange is a little smaller now, but that the top end is just insane.

I like the sound of that... where could i find a dyno sheet for one of them? I want to compare it to an older one. would you say the power band is similar to the 750 on how it progresses?

I dunno, since I don't really know much about the 750s.

I can't wait 'til the new changes to the 1K carry over to the 750 and 600.

 

there are a couple of dyno comparisons from the 05 shoot outs on google, just do a search,

i have an 04 r1 which is a mid high range rocket , but no it doesnt pull like an old gsxr,
althogh the wheel loves to come up, alot!!!
