hey, guys... ran a search... didn't find anything on this.
got a cable b16 tranny that i've been beating up on for about two years and last night my 5th gear started popping out...
don't know what it is... is it fixable or am i going to have to get a new tranny... any help appreciated.

That is a classic sigh of a shaft bearing going bad. You can either keep driving it until it destroys itself and then throw it away, or go ahead and fix it now before it gets too bad.
actually i've been having a fluid leak and a bad bearing.
thanks for all the help guys... guess the car gets parked until i can get this fixed.
