axle question

Default axle question

i just picked my car up and when i would make a turn it would make a grinding noise and i took the wheels off and the axle nuts were finger loose, has anyone ever heard of them backing out, they are brand new axles

I have seen axles nut backing out. You didn't put it on tight enough.

they left the nut loose after they tighten it up they are supose to stake it so it could never back off if a mechanic did a job i would chew their ***

beat the edge of the nut down with a punch where there is an indent in the axle end.
