Default Official Hondamans Demolition Derby Car

Here are some pictures of the 1987 Honda Accord.

It will be the official Hondaman's Demolition Derby mobile for the upcoming Demo Derby at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds on June 4.

Just started on it today after work.

Here is a list of things that need to be done:
remove all windows
relocate gas tank inside vehicle
install kill switch for fuel pump
relocate battery inside vehicle
remove headlights/taillights
weld doors shut
remove hatch

More pictures will come later.

Pat, that is what we need to do with the LS1 Camaro before you send it to GMAC!!!! Make it worth only $500!!! LOL....

Seriously though, AJ, that looks like it's gonna be fun. FWD demolition derby cars need a good reverse gear though.... are you sure the tranny's up to it?

Good luck AJ, good to see you're doing something destructive with your free time.

Update:

The gas tank is inside the car and strapped down
Battery is inside the car
windows have been shattered and cleaned up
rear hatch has been removed
exhaust has been removed.

Still a list of stuff to do, plus paint the car and I'll be ready for this Saturday night.

Pictures to come tomorrow.

Please fasten that gas tank more securely.

I wouldn't trust those mounts.
