I bought a car w/ the mods listed below in my sig. When i bought the car i checked everything visible, but the only thing i assumed on was the internals on the head(ctr cams, valvetrain). Now that i have the car im starting to question whether or not the head is upgraded. Is there anyway i can determine without dissasembling the motor if its stock or not? Or any other way to tell? Thanks for the help.

use the force you will have to pull the cams to verify

 

yup...gotta get ur hands grimmy n get down into the head...only way to tell is to take the whole tamale apart...have fun and remember to torque bacc to spec.!!

yeah i read a thread on how to i.d. ctr cams but what about the valves, springs, retainers? how can i differentiate b/w stock or not?
