Default Mini me help....

Why does my timing belt whine so much? im using a y8 head and d15b7 block...

just check your timing? i also did a mini swap to mine and it works just fine

Well what belt am i spose to use? i got a z6 belt for the job... is that tooo tight? or do i need to use the 96 ex belt that came with the y8

Yes the z6 belt it what u need....When i did mine it winned for a bit too. Mine was pretty damn tight and took a lot to get it on the cam gear but it will loosen up over time.

some people are saying that i need to us the 96 ex belt since the cam gears are diff from the 92-95 compaired to the 96-98

why use a d15 block??.. high compression??.. thats what i was using but what is so good about it??.. what potential does a minime swap have over z6...?? j/w
