Just curious how may people are in the 11's NA with only a 4.4 final drive.
I would think that most people would be using a 4.7 or 4.9 with 24.5 inch slicks to compensate.

That is encouraging. I need the 24.5 inch tire, I just feared that the tall tire coupled with a 4.4 final drive would not be sufficient enough.

dont get me wrong you will definitely benefit from a 4.7 final drive....i was only crossing the traps in 4th at about 8200 rpm......
youd be suprised how well 23 or even 22 inch slicks will handle a decent amount of power also.....ive heard of big torque numbers on h22 guys and they said 22's still worked

With a 4.4FD on 24.5" Slicks...the car kind of falls on it's face top of 3rd and 4th gear. Depending on your shift points, you would definately benefit from a 4.7 or a 4.9 FD. It's worth atleast 2-3 tenths...

But H22A guys have 4.26FD, so they need shorter slicks to make their gearing better, and to solve the traction problems, a wider slick, like 22x9x13 as opposed to 22x8x13.
