oil light flickering / no power above 3k rpm
the problem arose out of nowhere. one day the car was running perfect with no problems. the car sat for 2 days while my valve cover was being powdercoated. threw the valve cover back on. and no more then 10 miles after that the oil light came on. when i start the car the oil light would flicker at idle until it gets to about 1250rpm and it would go away. when i drive the car it would be fine until it hits 3000rpm and there will be absolutely no power as if i wasn't even pushing the gas down. there's some ticking coming from the engine. does anyone have any similar problems?
did u have anything covering your head? isuggest an oil change since u dont know if any cats or bugs crawled in there.

Thats not a good sign when the oil light comes on and levels are fine. Have you run a compression test? Your oil pump could be going out on you. If you have VTEC, does it work? If so how high are the RPMS when it kicks in and are they normal? Just be prepared for the worst!
