Help - How to install ignition system?
I bought a ignition system from honda ($225) for my eg (to replace one damage by theft). Question is how do I install it? Any install guides? Special tools I need? I have no clue ... help .. I searched also
You're talking about the stock internal coil setup right? be specfic, which part? coil? distributor?, wires? cap & rotor?
I do not know what the part is called. It has two screws (i heard they where a bitch to get out). It's the whole unit. Under neith the steering wheel column cover

OHHH you're talking about the ignition switch. it's not hard at all. remove the lower steering cover held in place by few screws. the uppoer cover is held in place by the lower cover so pull it off carefully. And don't mess with any of the yellow wiring harnesses, that is your SRS aka airbag system. insert the key and turn it to "O" position, remove the two screws, pull the switch out. install is the reverse.
(disconnect the battery BTW which is common sense here)
BTW I hope you're not talking about the part the key goes into?
