what is a good LSD for the a jdm h22a tranny ???
umm i really don't know that is a good question isn't it if u can see all the way through it then it is LSD or if u can't see through it i dunno i think i read that somewhere dunno if that is true.... would the tranny be stamped for it ????
i would go with a quaife lsd and you could pick one up for about $650-700 and not all jdm h22a comes with lsd you have to order it seperate.

just a little tip on getting a quaife (or other LSD) for a jdm h22. you'll need to buy a usdm ring gear and a usdm gearbox case. the jdm differential is taller than the usdm, so if you put a quaife in there with the jdm case, it'll be loose.
bluluder, are you sure that a JDM H22a LSD is a cusco unit? I am rebuilding my tranny before I do the H22A swap and I am trying to figure out if the diff is a clutch type. If it is a clutch type I would like to get replacement clutch plates for the diff before I bolt it back together.
I have had quite a few opinions on this and 50% say gear type and 50% say clutch type. I might have to wait to have it on my bench to know for sure.

it seems to me that most JDM LSDs are viscous or helical... so no factory clutch-type LSDs...

Cool! thanks to that thread you gave me, I found Honda's model matrix on thier website. It's a coupling (or clutch type..) check it out here, translate it with a translator of your choice.
