Default Ring Gap for Hastings rings??

What should ring gap be for hastings rings on a 81.5mm engine with NON forged pistons (non oem P73A0 cast and .0015" piston to wall clearance)

they dont say much at all, jus .004 per inch of bore.

so .004*3.2=0.013, thats OK for TEIKOKU and too big for RIKEN rings as per HELMS manual.

This should be top ring but it has no instructions for second ring gap.

Also would like to know if its better for high performance to have the clearance tighter or looser on the top and second ring.

top ring is supp to be tighter than the bottom ring. .17 for the first and about .22 for the second, you should be really going by oem specs since they are oem replacement rings.

helms doesnt list specs for 81.5mm bores.. . .

anybody?? these are Chrome rings and the bores where sanded with 360grit sandpaper, what ring gap is best for NA power??

This is why honda-tech sometimes sucks. Some knoweverything ******** always have something to say either about spelling or whatever. READ: nobody ******* cares if you spell right or wrong or if the wrong words are used as long as the message gets there
