Don't. Just run a little less boost. Engines die because of detonation or too much power, not because you run 9psi instead of 8psi.

What can a stock D handle, 225whp? Just get some good engine management and tune for that power level. Less boost and more compression will give you better performance out of the same whp.

Are there any internal mdoifications to your mini-me setup? And what all is done to your engine setup. I have a turboedit chip that allows me to run 10psi but i wanted to lower CR to be on the safe side. Thanks For all the input

I'm using the metal hg.. so a bit higher comp but its not tooo bad. Stock head and block. Don't fear the compression.. just make sure u tune it before you run too much boost. start @ 5-6 and get it tuned later for 10. No chip will automatically make ur car ready for 10psi, thats silly.
