Default need help asap...tranny code 4spd or 5

just as the name implies i have a tranny i bought for my swap.(d16z6)..and i bought a cable tranny for it so i wouldnt have to go through the whole cable to hydro ****....and we put the shift linkage in and it seems to only be a 4spd...which would really **** me off...anyhow...heres the tranny code any help would be greatly appreciated.....SL3 5047649....if you know if its a 4 spd or 5 spd pls lemme know

does it have a tin cover on the far right of the car if so inside that cover is fifth gear

well im at the library right now on the comp...it was closer to my house....soo i dont remember..the thing is the junkyard i bought it from gave me a 4 spd the first time...then i returnrd it very pissed off..n they gave me this one...i bought an exedy clutch meant for a 5 spd..and it fit perfectly....

also i used the stock shift linkage off the d15b2....dont know if thats the problem...n i still got the linkage off the z6 so ill just go ahead and swap em out if thats the case...some1 plz help wit info on this

that would be true for 84-87 Civic/CRX, but not 88-91 - they all look the same from the outside - 4spd and 5spd use the same case - could be a 4spd, but the only SL3s i have seen were 5spd from 91 DX - shift linkage is the same in all 88-91 4spd or 5spd

What is wrong with a four speed tranny? Just change the FD to something in the area of 4.7 and call it a day

well i picked up the Si tranny today...and im gonna go and put it on later....turns out it was a 4 spd.....*******....but the one i got now is def. Si....i check the codes....
