Default any way to bypass crankshaft fluctuation sensor? 96 hatch.

well we put an obd one ls into my friends 96 hatch which is obd2 , we had someone re wire the distributor to make it work with the obd 2 system, which it does , but we ran into a prob,. we are using a 97 integra obd2 ecu and it it throwing codes 54 and 14, which are crankshaft fluctuation sensor and idle air control valve. the IAC is not big deal. although i dont know why its throwing it cause its hooked up properly and working. but the CFS sensor code is the prob. his car was a CX and that sensor it still on his CX motor which is no longer in the car. and the distributor is obd 1 so it dont have that sensor in it either. so what can we do to solve this? we get the same codes when we use his stock CX ecu also. the car starts and all but it stumbles when u give it gas . badly. timing and all is good . just i think that sensor missing is messing it up. anyone know what to do?

If the LS is from an OBD1 or OBD0 car, it won't have a place on the oil pump to mount the sensor. You can either put an OBD2 oil pump in (yuk) or convert to OBD1 and be able to tune the ECU (yay!). For the money it would take to put an oil pump in, I would think about the conversion, it would just take an adapter harness and an ECU.
