i have a gs-r motor in a 97 civic coupe and I read before that i can still use my stock d series ac compressor pump but need a different ac bracket because the one for the gs-r wont line up the d series compressor.
which bracket do i buy? thanks

sisnce you have a gsr get the crv bracket its 40 dollors cheaper.

 

so i just go to the honda dealership and ask for a 94-97 del sol vtec (b16) ac bracket and it will fit on the motor and bolt a DX ac pump to it correct? just making sure cause our honda dealership has a no return policy and i saw that it is a $140 dollar piece of metal

i ordered a del sol vtec (b16) ac bracket and it bolts to the motor fine but the d series pump will only line up the right two holes but not the left 2....taking it back but need to know if the crv is the same??? hate to waste hondas and my time its getting closer and closer to 110 degree heat!

 

I have the same problem. I have no clue why you guys are having that problem. I've got a B18B swap in my car right now (B16B is goign in on Saturday), and I used a Del Sol Vtec AC bracket witha DX pump. Bolted right on. &lt;shrug&gt; Make sure you are getting the correct bracket.....parts guys are usually tools. Pardon the pun.
