Default got my new brake system

It is long time ago since I bought some upgrade parts for my turbo teg...well, here is my new AP 4 piston caliper brake kit setup. In Brno (CZ republik) the Stradale F360 Modenas and the GT3 cup Porsches was about 2-6 seconds quicker per lap than me, they beat me in braking distance.......this should be over now. HarrrHarrrHarrr!!!

The calipers weights 4.4 lbs, diameter is 295mm and 28mm thick. The season can start now

EDIT

I tried the Volk te37 7x15 offset 43mm and I need an 5mm spacer to clear the calipers. 5mm is fine w/o changing to longer studs. The SSR type-C 7.5x15 offset 45mm clear the calipers. I also had no probs with Volk te37 7.5x16 offset 42mm

A friend of mine clear the brake system with his oem Enkai ITR 15x6inch offset 50mm rims .......AP says it requires at least 15x7inch...but it depends on the spoke design and offset as well.

It was importpant for me to have a strong brake system which clears 15inch rims, since all of my race rims are 15inchers and I like to have as less as possible unsprung weight

Man, if those clear 15" wheels than I am interested big time. I also use only 15" wheels and have always thought the caliper choices were a bit scarce. Where can I get more info? Do you have part numbers or anything?

Please post new vids ASAP...

check the AP homepage out. There are actualy 2 brake kits for 15inch rims.

One with fixed rotors and one with "simming" rotors....but the AP tech told me the swimming rotors realy benefits of they have larger diamter like 330mm up to compensate disc warp. You want the Integra type-r DTC kit, it is part number:

CP3307-1051
Competition Brake Kit for Honda INTEGRA

Technical Information: Caliper CP3307 4 POT Disc CP3580-102/3G8M,
Ø295 x 28mm, 8 groove, 48 Vane, (bolted disc).
Pad CP3215D50 Wheel Honda 7J X 15 5 SPOKE

I payed 2500 euro for the system which is of 2 discs, 2 calipers, mounting parts and a set of Ferodo DS3000 pads. I think I got what I payed for

I know the WRC Mistubishi Evos have used them for a number of years (up until the Evo 6 TM I believe) with which Tommi Makenin won 4 consecutive WRC titles.

in many racers opinions, AP is of much higher quality than Brembo. Most F1, IRL, CART, IMSA, ALMS, JGTC, etc run AP brakes

pretty overkill for an ITR but one sick caliper and set of rotors to say the least!

please note: the brake dust from these pads are corrosive, make sure you wash your wheels and car OFTEN

That's about what a Brembo big brake kit goes for, however it doesn't fit under 15" wheels like the AP system.
