New exhaust?
what should i use for my new exhaust...? i'm not sure if i want to leave the rsonator in, or take it out. i was thinking about the rsr
, but i am a little pressed for time & money... so, i am pretty sure that i will go with the tenzo r

... but my bigest question is this... resonators, & catalitic converters... do i need a resonator?... if so, what one should i get... remember i am on a tight budget... i went to midas to see what they could do for me & they said they could make an exhaust for me w/ 2.25 piping & minimal bends for about $200... is this a good price?

The resonator works as a muffler to help keep overall exhaust noise down, and helps get rid of any raspiness that may occur in the higher rpm range. So you don't need it, but they are good to have. Also that picture you have there isn't just of the resonator, that's the mid-pipe with the resonator. So if you just go for an axle back muffler you wont get as good of performance.
The 200 dollar Midas exhaust will be better than stock, but most-likely crush bent and not mandrel like most aftermarket exhausts.

i just baught the same exhaust from turboimport.com but it hasent come in yet. from what i hear the exhaust has one of the sweetist sounds + good performance, simmilar to the greddy. taking of the resonater isnt a good idea. the chancs of it sounding like **** is pretty good, expecialy if you custom fab a strait pipe. i have a 90' HF with a b16 hopfully it wont sound like ****.
Q: Where did you get the exhaust from? price?

I have the Tenzo R muffler on my CRX. It's got a nice mellow tone, definitely not fart can. It does get a "buzzy" at highway speeds. I've had it about a year and the stainless finish still looks good. My biggest complaint is it's stupid 3" tip sticks out past the bumper by about 3". I bent the hangers up and in the most I could but it still sticks out too far. I've thought alot about cutting it off. All and all, it's a good stainless muffler for the price.....

I need to know too because I'm looking for one for a good price.
