Default Benen X-member bar

Tried search.. didnt really find it..

I have this bar, but now that its time to mount it, I'm a little puzzled where it exactly goes..

I think I have a clue.. You probably all know these H-brace things, they have those endlegs to them that have holes exactly on the place where the chassis has 2 bolts in it for no appearant reason.. thats where i THINK it should go.. Am i right?

damn i feel stupid now.. buying something & not really knowing where it goes.

I saw something like this from Benen in the past and it mounted to the pan behind the spare tire well. It requires holes to be drilled for mounting. I'm not 100% sure that this is what you have but is sure looks like it.

NO NO NO. That bar goes on top of the front crossmember underneath the intake manifold. If you look down into the engine bay, you will see the 4 holes (two on each side) on top of the black crossmember. The crossmember is the structure the rear tranny mount connects to. The holes are all pre-threaded, for an OEM brace that is included in all sport model integras/civics/sols...

I am looking for the OEM bar for my civic at the moment.

Talk to Marcus at http://www.HeelToeAuto.com, I know he had some ITR front x-member braces at one point, I'm pretty sure they fit the Civics too .....
