Default CTR Vs ITR

On paper the ctr looks better but time and time again i see it get owned on the track.
what is the deal thoughts, ideas, and flames are welcomed.

The track, as in AutoX or 1/4 mile?

The ITR has a 1.8L and the CTR has the 1.6L. More torque to the ITR.

I saw this one video of a 1/4 mile race between a stock ITR and EK CTR and the CTR lost.

EDIT:

ITR is actually light like the CTR.

well, if you put an equally skilled driver for all, i'd have to say the ITR.

Stock for stock, ITR should win. Hence the class system - NSX, S200o, ITR, CTR... etc.

That's what I think.

ITR would win.. The CTRs surprisingly aren't too quick for anything. Even for track racing. We have heaps of Japan imports over here, so I have raced a few on the circuits. And ITRs are WAY cheaper to buy to begin with anyways. And no, I am not bias, not a ITR owner anymore. Got stolen...
