Anyone know if i can use the msd 2 step just for the 2 step launch and leave the rev limit pill blank? Will putting a pill in module 1 and leaving module 2 empty work?

 

What box are you referring to?

 

Leaving the rev-limiter slot open, will allow the car to go to whatever your ecu limiter is set at. Basically it not working if you dont put in a pill. Hope this helps.

 

im using the 6al. It wont be a problem though will it? Cuz until i buy a pill for the 2nd module i will be running the 1st module which is the 2step launch. My question is just will i have a problem with it. Im pretty sure i won't have a problem but i just wanna make sure, stock rev limit will be fine for the time being since i can adjust it cuz i have hondata and i intend to get the pill soon but not until i get tuned. its fine
the ecu will cut it
the 6al does not bypass the ecu and cut it off
msd only cuts off ignition
have fun 2steping

leaving a slot open will just not limit anything
