my 91 crx has a d15b8 inside, converted to obd1, the problem is that when I try to redline it it just stops or bogs around 5g and thats it, isnt it supposed to be around 6800 or 7000, could it be the p28 auto ecu that im running, the car is 5spd

 

first are you throwing any codes??? ummmm cheapest way if no codes not sure if auto ecu will affect redline ? but socket your ecu run uberdata or whatever and convert to manuel with a good map

it should be throwing 3 codes, one for 5spd, two for vtec, and three for secondary oil thing, but ill check if theres anything else but im going to slap a z6 head on and see if it will be the same so ill keep you guys updated

 

Have you adjusted the valves recently?, and if so what did you adjust them to?

 

first off if you are running a p28 and it is showing a vtec code the ecu is probobly running i safe mode. honda ecu has a factory safe mode i think.

 

also in idle it revs to 2 then back to 1 then again and again..... vaccum problem???
