Yep, I know I know everyone says they never thought it would happen to them. Well, after reading all the posts on this site I started to become more aware of the danger. I have not had the money to add an alarm, nor the forsight to install killswitches. I was trying to fix what was wrong with her, and I was doing well...The alarm/killswitches were on my list of todos, but not high enough. Today 3 days after a installed a new valve cover, (purchased from heeltoe, great service...) my car was taken from my office buildings parking lot. I know it was there untill about 4:00 when my boss left, and I was leaving my office at 5:05 when I saw an empty parking spot. I freaked inside, and called around to at least get a ride together. Then I filed the police report, and insurance claim. No clue when it will show, and I am guessing my factory installed b16a is gone allready. If I know much about the way this works, I will get a call after its been found picked bone dry :sigh: oh well.

I will update the post with any new information, but for now my baby is just gone...

Know the feeling, I was trying to repair my body...The funny thing to me is I drive the absolute **** outta mine, and they still took her... 130,000 miles on her, and the drivers side is all crunched across the fender, and the door panel. I have no pics, but her plates say G02-GRD

Well, my car was recovered today, less than 24 hours after it was taken. They took the engine/transmission hood/front bumper, and the front seats. So its totalled, and I am working out a deal for an 03 si hatchback (With Lo-Jack).

This has been quite the learning experience, and I will never buy another car without lo-jack or some other theft recovery system included.
