So hard to say between a Type R and a Cobra - totally different worlds. One can handle like few other, the other can handle pretty damn well and has torque.

Not offhand. I know a couple of guys who moved on from Mustang GTs to Integras, but not Rs (this was years back).

no, i just got traded my 00 civic si for the 99 cobra now i miss the good gas!

lol, gotcha. I had a '99 Si for about a year (sold it to get my ITR) and I can't remember what the mileage was.. high 20's, I guess?
The ITR is EPA rated at 25 mpg city, 30 mpg highway.
The R has better low end than the Si, which felt plain gutless - smooth, but gutless. Neither is a torque monster as you know.
Basically, if you liked the Si, you'll really like the R... at least once you have time for the Cobra memories to wear off a little

some j/o will go out of there way to steal an itr... good luck hope you find someone and i would post pics of the stang it would probably help a little

yes indeed cobra are similar to itr my dad as a 97 that is all done up with a supercharger \cog belt setup intercooled i taught i would have a bit of a chance against him but wen we dynoed the fukr
it neted 729 whp and 610 ftp lol
wen i raced him with my its at 400+whp it wastn even close these cars runs 154 mph in 4 gear and it lasted him a few second aaaah
