I don't know in your area, but these things are hot sellers amongst young people in Toronto.

They are mainly on cheap cars, IMHO making them look cheaper. Haha..

Funny. Those things are useless on the street, but they actually could be very useful to a race car.

Ever tried crewing for an endurance team? Well, thing funny thing called darkness engulfs the track during long races. It's tough to tell cars apart, especially when their rolling down pit lane. It'd be kinda nice to be able to identify your car from the end of pit lane.

We may have to use these during the next 12 hour.

HAHA, oh god, I hope you're not serious. Why don't you go for a complete neon underbody light kit and flashing strobes. That will make it even easier.

 

I'm dead fawking serious. It blows when you can't identify your car coming down pit lane, and if the car rolls past the pit, then they have to do another lap. Major waste of time. Ever driven on a dark track? I don't mean under stadium lights either. We're talking West Virginia, darker than the depths of hell, w/ no lighting other than from cars and crappy lighting around the pits.

We can either do these, or tape on an LED "flashlight". Hmm, cool, new idea for our enduro cars. RICE RICE BABY!
