Can anyone help me out. Want to put in CRX/Si seats into my eg hatch. Is it possible what do i need, are they direct bolt ins or modify it if so how? Thanks for the help

 

you need to custom make rails....i just mocked mine up tonight, just gotta weld and bolt. i used my stock eg rails and made some custom brackets to match up with the crx seats. i will post a "how to" when i get them done.

 

thanks man just email me the how to. Suppose to get them tom night and want ot mount them as soon as possible.

 

You can probably just switch the pans with your existing seats. Then it should bolt right up.

 

what year crx seats? there was a post about this just a few days ago three of them should line up try a search.

 

there actually civic si seat for a 91 i believe but there the exact same as the crx's. Let me know if u find that how to on the seats. THanks

No, they are not the same at all. '88-91 CRX DX/Si seats are completely different from '89-91 Civic Si seats. In addition, seats from CRX/Civic with door-mounted seat belts are different from CRX/Civic with pillar mounted seat belts.

You will have to custom fab some brackets as previously mentioned.
