lol I thought I was the only one who wears a hat under the helmet so I dont look like a fool hoping of the bike opening the trunk and putting on my hat just to run in a store to get a soda.

How in the world do you fit a hat on under the helmet?

hahaha yeah i know what u mean just running into the store its so much easier if its on ur head instead of opening up the seat cowl.

wear it backwards and have the bill stick out the back of the helmet

Well that's good to know...now how do you go about putting your helmet on?
Helmet first and glasses through the visor?
or
or glasses on first then helmet?

So simple yet not....

The bill on my hat hits my speed hump and I can't lift my chin very high

Aww, you poor thing. How ever do you get along?

I carry an Eddie Lawson hat... but I worry that people might think he's a new Nascar driver or something.

But then people can't see your face and know you ride!

I think glasses under a helmet is a horrible idea. I think they would do some nasty damage if you ever went down face first.

I screwed up my eyes awhile ago (long story) so I couldn't wear my contacts but I couldn't go for 4 months without riding so I started wearing my glasses. I really didn't like it at all but I rode with them anyways because of the need.

I don't see how you all can wear hats.

I just rock out the helmet hair. Or as usdmPC3 does ... just be lazy and where the helmet around.

i crashed with my glasses on.... it sliced my nose up good ill post a pic in a sec

it sucked.... 8 stitches later... and a nose that was broken in like 10 places.... ehhh lesson learned... my visor was open... it was to early and it was a tinted screen, so i had it open... DONT RIDE WITH UR SCREEN OPEN

OTHER LESSON LEARNED - FULL GEAR SAVED ME FROM ANY DAMAGE TO MY BODY... only my nose got hurt, i was sore, but no rash or broken body parts

about 4 days after the accident

Some of us don't have a choice.

It is a pain though, taking them on and off every time I take my helmet on and off.

I agree. I can wear contacts but the chances of them ******* up while in my eye are just as if not higher than glasses getting in the way. Also any wind on my contacts dry them out like crazy.

I know what you mean I managed to scratch my eye while removing a contact resulting in a corneal ulcer...I couldn't do **** for at least 2 weeks and I had to walk around putting this creme in my eye and taking serious pain killers .not fun I'd get eight stiches any day of the week.

Yeah um, after seeing those pics I will no longer wear my spectacles while riding. As for wearing a hat? I zip mine up in my jacket against my shoulder so all I have to do is unzip my jacket and voila.

(Sun)glasses under the helmet own all j00. It's just battle scars to get the womens without actually being too seriously hurt.

As far as the helmet hair goes... a number 2 all over fixes that. (Insert #2 crap joke here)

Not when the sun starts to go down. I was out riding with Ross a few months ago and we ran out of sunlight. I just stuck my sunglasses under the seat and was on my merry way. Since I have some trouble in low light situations I would have been hard-pressed to ride home with a tinted shield the whole way. Besides, wearing sunglasses affords me the ability to ride with my shield up if I want some fresh air.
