b18c1 vs. b18c5-r ??

Default b18c1 vs. b18c5-r ??

I've heard that a R engine cost alot more to tune. And a gsr is alot better for the money. what is the best engine? can you put an R engine in a sol? thanx

Yes both will bolt up to your Del SLO. I bought my B18C1 swap for $3500 complete and I like it. If I had the extra $$ I would've bought the B18C5. It's a better engine, tranny, you name it. The only benefit I can think of with the B18C1 complete swap is the fact that it costs a lot less...and it has a 2 stage dual plane intake manifold = better for daily driving.

yeah for the money that a b18c5 swap will cost you could build a much faster b18c1, but i sure do love my b18c5

Does it really matter? Atleast he got the B18C5 part. Quit trying to pick on the newbie.
