Awesome prices. I'm making my entire I/C system out of 2.5" 16ga. for less than $90 (cost of aluminum tubing...) Consists of:

5 90deg 4" Centerline radius (CLR)
2 90 deg 6" CLR
1 120 deg 6" CLR
6' straight 2.5 16ga

All elbows are mandrel-bent.

Most people would prefer aluminum due to the weight savings over steel, but you'll pay more for the piping. Welding mild steel is easier too (for me anyway).

Well as of right now I would hold off on contacting us about aluminum. I spoke to our aluminum manufacturer and they are having some issues with being able to get us material at this time. This is extremely frustrating, especially on this side of line and I wish I could be some help to you.

Sorry about the confusion,
Richard

I always thought that with the low melting point of aluminum it would melt with the heat of the turbo

Exhaust manifold yes, but you're not blowing exhaust gases through IC piping. That's what your cast iron and steel manifolds and downpipes are for.

Well since this is a sales post, i'll jump in.

2.25", 2.5", and 3" 45 and 90 deg. bends = $22/ea, polished and you don't have to grind them down to weld them, not coated.

same sizes, 24" straight sections, same polish = $24/ea

With compound, but cleaned pretty good afterwards. A quick wipe with some acetone and it's ready to weld.
